What is local SEO?
Local SEO gets your business shown for searches with local intent, such as "dentist in Andheri" or "near me". It covers four things: your Google Business Profile (which feeds the map pack), a page for each area and service you offer, reviews, and consistent business listings.
Google says local results "are mainly based on relevance, distance, and popularity", and that "there's no way to request or pay for a better local ranking on Google" (Google Business Profile Help). Google also notes that "businesses with complete and accurate info are more likely to show up in local search results" (source).
What you get
- Google Business Profile build-out: categories, service areas, photos, weekly posts.
- Area and service pages: one page per area and service worth targeting, with real local detail.
- Review program: a simple SMS/WhatsApp/email ask after every job, following Google's policies.
- Citations and NAP: the same name, address and phone on Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART and industry directories.
- Reporting: map-pack rankings across your service area, plus calls and enquiries.
Local SEO and AI answers
AI search tools retrieve from search results before answering. The GEO study found that pages adding sources and statistics were cited more often, especially pages that weren't already ranking first (Aggarwal et al.).

Questions we get asked
Direct answers first. If your question is not here, ask it on the call.
What decides local ranking on Google?
Google says local results are mainly based on relevance, distance and prominence, and that complete, accurate business information makes a profile more likely to show (https://support.google.com/business/answer/7091).
Can I pay Google to rank higher in Maps?
No. Google states there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking (https://support.google.com/business/answer/7091). Ads are separate and labelled.
Do I need a physical address?
No. Service-area businesses can hide their address and list the areas they serve instead, as long as they meet Google's guidelines.
